AllTalk Support : Adding a contact
Go to AllTalk interface and select the Contacts section.
Step 1

Click on Add Contact at the top right corner of the page.

The only necessary information for a contact is their phone number. All other information is optional to create a contact.
Step 2

Fill up necessary information and then hit “Save”.

This will bring you to an individual conversation screen. You can now send a direct message to the contact.

The AllTalk System will automatically assign one of your purchased numbers to the contact for communication

The AllTalk System uses local presence based on zip code, state, city, area code. (In that order)

If there is no local presence number, the system will assign a random phone number from your purchased numbers.

The contact automatically saves even if you do not send a message
Alternative ways to add a contact

A user can add a contact with the EZ Text Button located at the top of the page (available on all screens). The only information needed is the contact’s phone number. Any additional information will save to the contact when added.

A user can add contacts directly to AllTalk through API integration with their preferred lead source or vendor.

A user can add contacts with a CSV upload in the Uploads section of AllTalk. (See How to upload a CSV)
