Sending SMS

AllTalk Support : Sending SMS

Prerequisites

  • Ensure your account is active and you have 10DLC registration approved; without this, SMS sending is restricted.

  • Log in to the AllTalk dashboard using your credentials. 

There are multiple ways to text a contact.

  1. EZ Text Button
  • Using the EZ text button at the top of the platform (This is available on all Screens)

  • Once you have selected the EZ Text button, a pop up will appear. Enter the contact’s information. The only required information to send a message to a contact is their phone number.

  1. Contacts
  • Select the contact you want to send an SMS

  • Enter the recipient’s number or choose from your contact list.

  • Compose your message in the text box.

  • Click Send or Schedule (if you want to send later).

    • Scheduling a message will allow user to send a predetermined message at a later time.

Scheduling Message

  • Type in Message Select the Schedule message button (Clock next to Send button)

  • There are two options to schedule a message

  1. Select one of the EZ schedule message options. These options are:
  • 6 minutes

  • 15 minutes

  • 30 minutes

  • 1 hour

  1. Select specific time and date. Use can either type in the time or use the +/- to increase or decrease timeframe.

  2. Click on Schedule message button

  3. This will now appear in the text chat with a clock showing that it is pending.

  4. There is an option to cancel the scheduled message by clicking the X after the scheduled time and date underneath the scheduled message.

Important Notes

  • If sending bulk SMS, ensure your workflow is properly configured; otherwise, the system may show “in progress” incorrectly.

  • For compliance, AllTalk tracks consent and opt-outs automatically (TCPA/GDPR compliance).
