Step-by-Step Process to Place a Call in AllTalk

  1. Log In

  2. Check Your Device Settings

    • Ensure your microphone and speakers are enabled.

      • To check this, click on the settings button on the left hand side of your browser bar (Google Chrome Browser)

      • Click on site settings

      • Make sure both Microphone and Sound are allowed in the browser

  3. Confirm your device is registered and not in Do Not Disturb mode. 

  4. Navigate to the Dialer

    • From the dashboard, click “Phone” or “Dialer”.

    • If you have multiple numbers, select the correct outbound number.

  5. Enter the Phone Number

    • Type the recipient’s number in the dial pad.

    • Double-check for country codes if calling internationally.

  6. Select which of users phone numbers they want to dial from

  • The default setting is local presence - This will dial the contact with the number that is closest in proximity based on users number area code. This will dial local presence based on the contacts information in this order: Zip code, state, city, area code

  • If the user wants to dial from a specific number, click on dropdown next to Call button to select the number the user prefers to call from.

  1. Initiate the Call

    • Press Call (usually a green phone icon).

    • Wait for the connection.

  2. During the Call

    • Use options like Mute, Hold, or Transfer if needed.

    • If you have Call Forwarding enabled, verify fallback routing works correctly.

  3. End the Call

    • Click the End Call button (red phone icon).

    • Review call logs for confirmation.

User can also make calls to a contact using these methods.

  1. Call directly from conversations page
  • Select the contact to call and click on call button in conversations screen.
  1. Make a call from Pipeline page
  • Go to Pipeline page → Select contact to dial

  • Hover over contact and click on dial button from tab
