AllTalk Support : How to create and modify a Redrip

A Redrip will allow a user to set up a set of text messages with delays to contacts that the Redrip is added to. This will message the contact from a different number from what the contact was originally messaged from.

Click on the Redrip tab 

  1. Click on Add Redrip at the top right hand corner of the screen.

  2. Add an action to the Redrip by selecting the orange plus sign in the center of the screen.

  • Time Delay - This allows the user to adjust when the next message will go out. The time frame is based on the last message sent.

    • Use can either choose a scheduled amount of time (Minutes, Hours, Days) or the user can set a specific time/day.

  • Text Message - This allows the user to customize their outgoing message.

    • User can enter the action name at the top: Ex : Text 1, Day 1 text, etc…

    • Enter message contents with segment counter at the bottom.

    • Include picture (Must be Jpeg or PNG)

    • Add variables: This will automatically insert data from the contact’s information into the message. Ex: First Name, Last Name, Zip Code, State, Email etc…

    • Insert rotating phrase - Syntax. This allows the user to set up rotating phrases to help with deliverability.

      • 1. Select Rotating Phrase

      • 2. Click on Add Phrase

      • 3. Enter the word(s) that will be spun with the Syntax separated by |.

      • 4. Click Save

      • 5. Saved rotating phrases can be reused and added to any other workflow or redrip.

        • This can also be manually done in the text message with brackets on open and close of rotating word(s).
  1. Preferences
  • Add a name to the Redrip

  • Set a tag for the Redrip (Or create new tag). Adding a tag to a Redrip will add a tag to the contact that the Redrip was added to.

  • Set Pipeline stage - This will add a contact to a specified stage on pipeline once the Redrip is added to a contact.

  • Redrip schedule will allow user to set up the times to where the Redrip will be active. User can set specific days and times.

  1. Status
  • Select the status as Published to make the Redrip active.
  1. Save
  • Once saved, the workflow is now active and the user can add workflow to contacts.

Change Redrip

  • Click on the Redrip you want to change (either the name or the pencil on the right hand side)

  • User can change time delays and text messages.

  • User can change preferences by clicking on preferences at the top.

  • Change the name under Redrip name, change schedule, add to pipeline stage or set up tags.

  • Click on the Redrip you want to change (either the name or the pencil on the right hand side)

  • Click on preferences at the top 

  • Change the name under Redrip name
